Practical task - making changes to the Company ident

The company ident for Elementary productions was created by myself and was created by using an animation program called "Cinema 4D". The product took a total of 4 hours to animate and 30 minutes to render which has made me truly appreciate the time taken by animation companies to make a fully animated film such as toy story or haunted house.

The ident itself originated from a template I had made for my GCSE project where it was a simple 2D outline of the "house". 

The ident starts off as a black screen which quickly starts to brigthen up to with a high angle light source that gradually intensifies as the camera moves clockwise around the elementary productions logo. 

Once the camera stops tracking around the logo and starts to track forward, the sound of crashing and grinding metal starts to quieten until the camera comes to an eventual rest, followed by a loud crashing sound as the word "elementary" falls down and rests at an angle ontop of the elementary house and the word "productions".

After that, the screen then fades back to black.

I will try to make some extra changes to the ident, including: The run time of the ident, the sound for the ident, change the colour of the light to a more orangey colour, make the words look like rusty metal and to make the light flicker and then cut to black with the sound of a fuse blowing out to match the ident more to the genre of the sequence and to make a link between the company and its main genre of prodution - horror. This follows a similar path to that of Twisted Pictures
